Pastor's letter - The Holy Year of Mercy

My Dear Parishioners,

Pope Francis has announced an extraordinary Holy Year of Mercy beginning on December 8, 2015, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception December, and ending on the feast of Christ the King, November, 20, 2016. The aim of the Holy Year is to proclaim and to receive the loving mercy of God, who is rich in mercy. This is very fitting for us during the terrible turmoil that is corrupting our world today. We can do our part by restoring harmony and peace between our families, friends, between churches and society. God has created us in His image and likeness, and wants us to be one with Him. He calls sinners, you and me, and wants us to change and be free from sin.
