Day 1. Monday, September 22, 2020 Depart from Boston. Connecting/direct flight to Vilnius
Day 2. Tuesday, September 23, 2020 Arrive in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. Transfer to hotel. Vilnius by night. Check in, dinner.
Day 3. September 24, 2020 Breakfast. Vilnius sightseeing which includes: UNESCO - listed Old Town, the Chapel of the Gate of Dawn with the painting of the Blessed Virgin Mary, credited with miracles, 16th- century Church of the Holy Trinity and Basilian Monastery, Rossa Cemetery – the oldest and most famous cemetery in Vilnius. Dinner and hotel in Vilnius.
Day 4. September 25, 2020 Breakfast. Depart Vilnius for Trakai. Sightseeing tour. Depart for Poland. Stop in Marian Shrine in Studzieniczna, a wooden church dedicated to Our Lady of the Scapular from 1847 and an even older bell tower. Sokolka, a small town with a historic temple dedicated to St. Anthony de Padua, where the miracle of Sokolka happened and since then it is a place of cult. Dinner and hotel in Bialystok.
Day 5, September 26, 2020 Breakfast. Depart hotel for Niepokalanow, “Town of the Immaculate Virgin”. Visit at Shrine of Our Mary of Immaculate and St. Maximilian Kolbe, one of the newest yet one of the most popular shrines in Poland, mainly because of the cult of St. Maximilian. Depart and go to Warsaw with a stop in Zelazowa Wola, the birthplace of Fryderyk Chopin, a great, world-famous Polish composer. Warsaw sightseeing tour includes Old Town, Royal Castle, Lazienki Park with its famous Chopin Monument and Palace on the Isle, Temple of Divine Providence and St. Stanislaus Kostka Church (Blessed Fr. Jerzy Popiełuszko’s parish). Dinner and hotel in Warsaw.
Day 6, September 27, 2020 Breakfast. Warsaw tour continues. Dinner and hotel in Warsaw.
Day 7, September 28, 2020 Breakfast. Depart Warsaw and arrive in Czestochowa. The Bright Mount Sanctuary, a famous shrine to the Virgin Mary, the holiest place of Poland and one of the world’s most important destinations for pilgrims. Check in and dinner in a hotel restaurant in Czestochowa. Night Vigil prayer at the Monastery of Jasna Góra (Bright Mount).
Day 8, September 29, 2020 Breakfast. Depart Czestochowa for Auschwitz. Visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, which are the resting place for some 1.5 million people, as the site once served as a concentration camp extermination site of the European Jewish community during World War II. Depart to Wadowice, a birthplace of Saint John Pope II. Visiting the Family Home Museum dedicated to the Holy Father John Paul II. Head to Cracow. Dinner and hotel in Cracow.
Day 9, September 30, 2020 Breakfast. City tour including: Old Town, Wawel Hill with Wawel Castle, the political and cultural heart of Poland since the 16th century, the Royal Archcathedral Basilica of Saints Stanislaus and Wenceslaus on the Wawel Hills, also known as the Wawel Cathedral, St. Mary’s Basilica that features one of the most spectacularly decorated cathedral interiors in all of Europe. Kazimierz, the Jewish Quarter tour. Dinner and hotel in Cracow.
Day 10, October 1, 2020 Breakfast. Depart for Divine Mercy Shrine, a Roman Catholic Basilica dedicated to the Divine Mercy devotion, a resting place of Saint Faustyna Kowalska. Visit to Saint John Paul II Center. Head to Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of the largest tourist attractions in Poland, registered on the UNESCO list and visited by over a million tourists every year. Depart for Zakopane. Dinner and hotel in Zakopane.
Day 11. October 2, 2020 Breakfast. Departure by fasiokami (wagons) to Morskie Oko. Return to Zakopane. Departure by tram on Kasprowy Wierch. A walk around Krupówki Ave. Dinner. Hotel in Cracow.
Day 12, October 3, 2020 Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to the airport. Depart to Boston. Connecting/direct flight. Night arrive to Boston.
